What is the message in Exodus 15 26?
We find God describing Himself this way in Exodus 15:26, where He says, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians.
In Exodus 15 Yahweh is declared the eternal king and in the New Testament we hear about Christians claiming that Jesus is Lord and that he has ultimate supremacy and allegiance in their lives.
It is from the Hebrew shamah (“to hear”) and could be translated “diligently obey.” This involves listening to what the LORD says in order to understand it and obey it. “do what is right in His sight.” Listening and obeying the word of the LORD should result in doing what is right, the LORD Himself being the standard.
It means taking our successes, failures, plans, and questions to God in prayer every single day—not just “the big stuff”. It means seeking out answers from God through the Bible and trusted Godly counsel that help us make decisions based on what is in line with God's will. This is committing to God.
Proverbs 4:23 says we should guard our heart with all diligence because from out of it flows the issues of life. This scripture implies that whatever we allow to enter our hearts, if not examined and evaluated properly, will undoubtedly be expressed in our lives and our actions – in positive or negative ways.
God promises to restore them and says, “Then afterward I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy.”2 This is to happen after their repentance and restoration; God's spirit will descend upon all people before the day of the Lord comes (Joel 2:32).

God can make bitter to us that from which we promise ourselves most, and often does so in the wilderness of this world, that our wants, and disappointments in the creature, may drive us to the Creator, in whose favour alone true comfort is to be had.
And so he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet ( Exodus 15:25 ): So they're learning, they're learning about God. They're getting acquainted with God. God can take the bitter experiences of your life and bring sweetness out of them.
The Hebrew word for renew used in this verse is Kered and it means to rebuild and repair. Eagles also molt in patches, taking almost half a year to replace feathers, starting with the head and working downward.
In fact, you should just forgive them anyway if they have offended you. Unforgiveness is a sin and a weight. Just lay it aside. We want God to forgive us of our sins. So, we must forgive others.
What does it mean in the Bible to keep your lamps full of oil?
3–4). In biblical times constant effort was needed to ensure that an adequate amount of oil was maintained in lamps. In our day we must exert constant effort to remain temple worthy. In the parable the virgins were not able to enter the door without oil.
Stillness is when you step away from the busy of life and connect with God. It's when you slow down for a few minutes and listen – truly listen – for God's voice. Stillness is how you stay focused on God's vision for your life and listen for His direction and guidance.
He does expect us to love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. To love others as we love ourselves, and love others as Jesus loved us. Those are the do's and don'ts. God has given us the rulebook for living together on this planet.
To commit your way to the Lord is to build your life upon the values of his Kingdom. It is to bring your time, talents, and treasures into full alignment with his will and purpose. And as the Psalmist reminds us, committing our way to the Lord is an act of trust.
When we ”commit” our works to the Lord, we are offering everything we do completely to Him. If we completely depend on God in our work, He will “establish” our plans. He will “bring about/cause to happen” our plans.
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

The Bible does talk about leaving an inheritance to children. Proverbs 13:22 says “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children.” In the cultural context that it was written, it is clear that passing land to the children and grandchildren would enable them to survive.
What is prophetic visitation?
Prophetic visitation is the Holy Spirit solution to the world problems. Prophetic visitation is not new but always it has been the way the Holy Spirit doing things. God visited Noah, Abraham, Moses and the people of Israel. God visited his people during the time of his Son, Jesus Christ.

in a literal sense, Pharaoh and his host, the avowed enemies of Israel; and, in a spiritual sense, those before named, together with all the antichristian party, those enemies of Christ, and his people, whom he wilt break to shivers as a potter's vessel, ( Revelation 2:27 ) .
The word “borne” means “to lift up and bear away” … as we go through life, we will encounter burdens and sorrows but Jesus has promised that He will lift our burdens. He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
Expanding on the above definition, to walk by faith, not sight, is to live in the confidence of a trustworthy God, allowing His providential vision to be your guiding light. Faith has to direct our actions, steer our thoughts, and stampede all over our fear-induced lack of trust.

When the Messiah comes, he will work a salvation so great that God's people will forget the exodus and praise God for this greater work of salvation which he has accomplished through the son of David. In other words, the salvation which Jesus will bring about will be even greater than the exodus.
It's interesting how Jesus phrased the command to “let not your hearts be troubled.” He didn't simply ask his disciples to try and avoid being fearful or anxious. The fact that he tells them to avoid allowing their hearts to be troubled is evidence that we have control over how we respond to the burdens of life.
We learned some excellent lessons from the eagle- have a strong vision, move with speed, be in the present, rise above the problems, find opportunities in problems, get out of your comfort zone, fly high, be courageous, and embrace the pain.
We need to spend time alone with God. We need to surrender to him, and let him teach us to fly. We need to let go of the fears that keep us close to the ground, and learn to soar into the Son. Our strength is renewed through contact with our Heavenly Father.
Unfortunately, both in the study of the fine arts and in literature studies (and in everyday speech), metaphors and symbols (both as concepts denoted by words and as pictorial emblems) are often used indistinctively: “the eagle in this picture/in this story is a metaphor for power, it symbolizes power”.
How do we lay aside every weight?
Placing cares at the feet of Jesus rather than carrying them on our shoulders helps us day by day to run well. Laying aside every weight includes learning to bear only what Christ desires. Jesus assures us in Matthew 11:29-30 that His burden is light.

To a whole generation the oil lamp symbolized comfort, family ties—and, most of all, progress. This verse confirms God's plan for your life which is to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future. You are here to fulfil a purpose, not just any purpose but your God given purpose. Proverbs 19:21 says; Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
What does it mean to condemn every tongue that rises against you?
Meaning that you will be able to rely on God's hand to lift you up out of the trouble that you are in, or He will cause the trouble to turn around for good (Rom 8:28). 'And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn' – Now doesn't that just sound great?
Having a “willing mind” connotes giving our best effort, our finest thinking, and seeking God's wisdom. It suggests that our most devoted lifetime study should be of things which are eternal in nature. It says to me that there must be an inextricable relationship between hearing the word of God and obeying it.
Not to have intercourse with another man's wife. There shall be no intercourse with a woman, without previous marriage with a deed of marriage and formal declaration of marriage.
It's saying that there will always be suffering, trial, temptations, pain, and situations that we won't be able to handle on our own. But when suffering and trials come — not if, but when — as followers of Christ, God promises to always be with us because he is faithful.
Letting God prevail in our lives increases His trust in us to follow a fulfilling course that will lead back to Him and to make good decisions along the way. He and Jesus Christ want us to experience joy, to choose for ourselves, to grow, and to pursue the things we love (see 2 Nephi 2:25).
Today's daily verse spoke to me — “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” (Proverbs 16:9). It just reaffirmed that God is in control here, and that whatever my plans may be, ultimately God's will for me will happen.
“The tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison” (James 3:8). Only by the grace of God in your life can you seek to control your speech.
[17] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Obedience is our way of showing God that we love Him; and it is through our obedience that God recognizes us and enables us to enjoy His Love. This in turn will allow God to reveal himself to us, and activates God's power to work in our lives.
How does God want us to obey him?
By gratefully taking care of the small things God has placed in you life, like making your bed and watering your plants, you are showing him that you are a good shepherd of what he gives you. By obeying in all things, even the mundane, you are showing God that you are willing and able to obey whatever he asks of you.
This is a pure heart: a heart that desires nothing more than to be with God because that truly is all our life should be about! Within this beatitude, Jesus also promises that those who embody this pure heart will see God. Only those with a pure heart will know Jesus because that is what Jesus sees.
The two types of adultery
Let's look at the dictionary definition of adultery: “voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her lawful spouse.” In fact, there are two types: single adultery (with an unmarried person) and double adultery (with a married person.)
Adultery is a form of extramarital sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not a party to the marriage. In a fault divorce, adultery is one of the grounds for divorce.
"You shall not commit adultery" is one of the Ten Commandments. Adultery is sexual relations in which at least one participant is married to someone else. According to the Book of Genesis|Genesis narrative, marriage is a union established by God himself.
